| Designed for use on boards which are inclined no more than 10 - 15 degrees. They have features and conveniences found on larger, more expensive models, yet their cost is much less. Automatic 15-degree indexing with lock-out for intermediate angles. Index plate is hardened and ground to accuracies as close as one minute of arc. The numbering on the protractor is always perpendicular to any base line to which the machine may be oriented. Numbering is 0 - 90 degrees in quadrants. Disc brake at clamp steadies upper arm on inclined board. Vernier reads to 5 minutes of arc. Bands are continuous loop welded steel to eliminate breakage. Full circle base line setting.
